Partnerships

One way we ensure as many people in the community who are in need get help is by partnering with other organizations including non-profits and local churches. We have partnered in varying degrees with organizations such as with the Black Achievement Fund, B.U.C.K. squad, Mom2Mom, WARM Shelter, The Haven, Come As You Are Cville, PACEM, The Arc of the Piedmont, Do Good Cville, BCBA, Thrive, and others. Our church partnerships include Orange Church of Christ, Crozet Baptist Church, Portico Church, MVMNT Church and Lake Christian. These churches hand out our meals using volunteers from their congregation. We find these partnerships maximize the number of meals distributed and allows for volunteer opportunities.

Currently twice a month we provide 150 meals to Portico Church. Volunteers from their congregation deliver these meals to those in need in the areas surrounding their church. Since the beginning of Legaci Eats we have had similar with Crozet Baptist Church and Lake Christian.
