One of the easiest ways to help us is by spreading the word. A majority of people in need find information by word of mouth. The more people know about us the more people we can help. Sharing on social media is a simple way to disseminate information and raise awareness about what we do, who we are, and who we help.
We are completely funded by donations, grants, church “love offerings”, private events, and revenue from our food truck. We need your help. No amount is too small. We appreciate the support in being able to continue our mission to fight food insecurity one meal at a time.
Hiring us for catering or to bring the food truck to your festival, neighborhood, or venue helps our community!
Donations of one’s time in the form of volunteering is equally important.
Volunteers have been the life blood of Legaci Eats. Pictured to the right is Billy, one of our most valuable volunteers who sadly passed away. For months Billy would deliver our meals in Waynesboro with the help of his Direct Support Professional. We will always remember Billy’s smile as he would excitedly say, “It’s time to feeeeeeeed Waynesboro.”
